Midnight In Paris
Last night AJ planned a little date night for us and we went to dinner, shopped, and saw the most adorable movie, Midnight In Paris, with Owen Wilson and Rachel Mcadems. We both loved it! It was different from any other romantic comedy I've ever seen! It was smart, witty, funny, sweet, romantic, and had some good twists, and made me wish I could speak French! It was wonderful so I just had to write about it and recommend that you see it! Enjoy!

What I've Been Reading
It all started with the Twilight Series by Stephanie Meyer, surprisingly, I didn't like to read very much until I found these books as a 15 year old. But, thanks to those books, I found my love for reading!
So lately...
"Water For Elephants" by Sara Gruen
If you have not read this book go buy it and read it now! I absolutely loved it! Its funny, romantic, exciting, suspenseful, etc...! I could not put it down and was definitely worth all the late nights I stayed up reading it!! Also I suggest seeing the movie, but of course not before reading the book. Usually I am dissappointed in movies they make after books. However, the movie was pretty much as good as the book! I was so glad! I think it's because they followed the book so closely! Hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
"The Help" by Kathryn Stockett
This book surprised me by how good it is! I would highly recommend it! It is set in Jackson Mississippi and tells the story of the african american Help in white women's homes. Its not a boring biography about racism. Its wonderful and I couldn't put in down! Also the movie is coming out in the fall I think! It looks like it is going to be very good!
"At First Sight" by Nicholas Sparks
This is an older book that I just came across in my house and decided to read. It was a sweet story and a good read. I enjoyed it and would suggest it as a read maybe on a rainy day or while at the beach. I have to say I didn't like the way it ended but thats just personal opinion.
Enjoy!

The End Of A Chapter!
Wow! The past few months have been packed full for me and it finally feels like things are going to slow down a bit! I haven't blogged in forever, but now I am ready to start getting back into it! So I am just going to recap the past few months in one post!
March, Senior Day!
The HHS baseball team celebrated their Seniors in March, and it was a bitter sweet day for the players and their families. Everyones excited for the next Chapter in life for all of the seniors, but at the same time its sad to think they have all grown up together and played on the same team for years and its all coming to an end! I found myself getting emotional during the ceremony, and I started thinking "why am I crying..I will still get to see AJ all the time?" But then I realized this is the end of a chapter for us. We met in High School and life has been simple. We saw each other everyday at school, after school, and just hung out at our parents houses watching movies on the weekend. Now that is all going to change! I guess my feelings were bitter sweet. I am so excited for this next step in our lives! And im even more excited about starting this new chapter together! However, I will miss these days that mark the whole start of our relationship. School where we met, the baseball games.., everything we have ever known is now in the past. Im excited and nervous, but ready for everything that lies ahead!
April, Easter!
Easter was beautiful this year! And I had so much fun with my sweet puppy Marley, and Easter Egg hunts with the family! AJ gets competitive no matter what were doing haha even Easter Egg Hunting and he definitely dominated running around with Olivia's girly Easter basket haha!

May, Graduation and State Champions!
Finally, AJ is joining me as an Alumni of Huntsville High! The Baseball Team went all the way in the State Playoffs and because the final games were in Montgomery on the same night as the 2011 HHS graduation, they had a separate graduation for just the baseball seniors on the baseball field before they left for Montgomery! It was wonderful! All of our friends and family were there and it was short and sweet! Witch was the best part we were all thrilled about not having to sit through a 3 hour graduation! The players all wore there gowns and wore there baseball caps with the tassels! I loved it! But graduating was not the thing on the players minds! They were getting ready to go and take the State Championship!!! We had to win 2 out of 3 games to win State. The first game we won 6-1! Then the next day we played and WON 10-2!!!! It is the first time in HHS History, all 103 years, for the baseball team to win a State Championship! So they made history! AJ was amazing! All the seniors deserved this, and it was a wonderful thing for AJ and his brother Jordan to share this their last year on the team together! AJ's last at bat he hit a home-run! AJ started playing for the HHS Varsity team in 8th grade, and his first at bat for the team he hit a home-run, then at his last at bat 5 years later he hit a home-run! We were all SOOO proud of him!! It was a day we will all remember forever and those boys will tell stories forever!

Tragedy in the South
The south has been rocked by the number of storms and tornadoes that went through on Wednesday April 27, 2011. Wednesday morning I woke up at my dad around 6 to the sound of high winds, rain, and the tornado siren. Luckily, a tornado did not touch down where I was at the time, but the wind damage across the town was a sight! Power lines laying across the roads, huge trees uprooted everywhere I looked, trees lying on houses, roofs of buildings ripped off, and no power anywhere. Several states were hit across the south, but Alabama was one of the worst with over 200 deaths, and more than 100,000 people out of electricity! Our whole county is expected to be without power for 7-9 days, and most of the surrounding cities are as well, and will probably be out even longer. So my family fled the state to go stay with family until the power comes back! Once we reached power Thursday night we finally got to see the news...and all the devastation across the south! Tuscaloosa, Alabama was one of the worst places hit out of all the states. A huge EF4 EF5 tornado a mile wide ripped through Tuscaloosa, missing the campus, but destroying the residential areas right next to campus and traveled on the ground for 80 miles. The Tornado had wind speeds of up to 200 miles per hour and left Tuscaloosa looking like a war zone. To give you an idea of how rare these tornados are, the amount of EF5 tornados that occur in the U.S. is about one every 2-4 years! 15th street was wiped out along with the mall and MidTown on Mcfarland Blvd. Please pray for Ttown! Right now there are 39 confirmed deaths and 571 people missing in Tuscaloosa!
It is a tragedy what has happened across the south so please keep us in your prayers.
Roll Tide!!
This is the Tornado in Tuscaloosa...

Confessions of a candyholic.
So I have to admit that I did not stick to giving up candy for Lent as planned.. Yes, i'm guilty. I was doing quite well, actually I was really proud of myself up until 2 weeks ago. I was in Auburn with my best friend and like usual it was late, we were hungry, and we bought a bag of Cadbury eggs! I wasn't even thinking about my lent commitment I was just enjoying each little chocolate easter egg I popped in my mouth! It wasn't until the next day I realized what I had done. I woke up and saw the empty bad of eggs and remembered! I'm NOT supposed to eat
